Director & Principal Physiotherapist
​Aba is the director and Principal Physiotherapist at Flex. His dedication, drive and passion to help his clients reach their goals and improve their lives is evident from the moment you meet him.
Aba treats all conditions, from aches and pains, neurological conditions or sporting injuries in elite athletes. He is an expert in helping to enhance mobility, restore function, reduce discomfort and reduce pain.

Cyril Shenouda
Lead Senior Physiotherapist
Cyril is our senior physiotherapist who enjoys bringing energy and excitement into each and every single session with his clients, allowing for encouragement and enjoyment. He is thorough in assessment, effective in treatment and goal driven, ensuring the absolute complete service for each of his awesome clients.

Andrew Asad
Physiotherapist
Andrew is a motivated physiotherapist with special interest in musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy. He uses manual techniques demonstrated through experience within both hospitals and clinical settings in order to empower patients to optimally perform active movements. Andrew believes in carefully listening and guiding the patient through their rehabilitation to provide the support required to achieve goals and independence.

Leila Arab
Women's Health Physiotherapist
Leila is an enthusiastic physiotherapist with a special interest in musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy. She prioritises listening to her clients, conducting a thorough assessment to find the root cause of the issue and then delivering optimal treatment. She’ll work closely with you to set goals, empower you to achieve them and smash them out of the park!

Michael Malek
Physiotherapist
Michael Malek is a dedicated physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Western Sydney University.
Specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, he has gained extensive experience working with NPL soccer teams, rugby league teams, and at the Sydney Marathon Festival.
Michael has treated a wide range of conditions in hospitals, covering musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological cases. Notably, he worked alongside Western Sydney Wanderers FC, collaborating with elite athletes, including Socceroos and international stars like Juan Mata.
Michael’s approach is patient-centered, tailoring treatments for both athletes and those seeking improved quality of life.
Outside the clinic, he stays active through soccer, hiking, and beach time. He is excited to bring his passion for evidence-based physiotherapy to Flex Physiotherapy.

Kevin Lau
Exercise Physiologist
Kevin is a passionate Exercise Physiologist dedicated to improving functional capabilities, aiding recovery from injuries, and integrating exercise to enhance quality of life.
Believing that exercise is medicine, he emphasizes that anyone can start their fitness journey at any age, from 5 to 95.
An avid gym-goer himself, Kevin enjoys working with gym enthusiasts of all levels to achieve goals and set personal bests.
Since graduating in 2022, he has primarily focused on working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities, gaining experience in treating conditions like dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, depression, and PTSD. Kevin is particularly passionate about neurological rehabilitation, exercise for mental health, musculoskeletal rehab, and falls prevention. He also has a keen interest in martial arts.

Dr Tomas Megalaa
Podiatrist
Tomas Megalaa attained a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Sydney. Since then he has also attained a Masters of Public Health from the University of Newcastle and a Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine and health) from the University of Sydney.
Tomas prides himself on the experience and knowledge he has strived to attain over the course of his working experience. He has dealt with all aspects of podiatry including but not limited to; sports and biomechanical caseloads, gerontology and diabetes education and management, high risk foot (including all types of ulcer management), diabetic foot screening , paediatrics, neurological disorders of the lower limb as we work closely with NDIS to support clientele, injury at work and returning the patient to work, management of ingrown nails through minor surgery and management of dermatological conditions of the lower limb, also common conditions such as ankle sprain, wart removal, flat foot, knocked knees just to name a few.

Aya El Rifai
Dietitian
Aya is a passionate and dedicated dietitian with a strong commitment to promoting health and nutrition. With a deep understanding of the relationship between food and well-being, Aya focuses on providing personalised nutrition advice to help individuals achieve their health goals. Whether working with clients on weight management, chronic disease prevention, or optimising overall health,
Aya takes a holistic approach, tailoring advice to suit each person’s lifestyle, preferences, and needs. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Aya empowers clients to make informed, sustainable dietary choices that support long-term health and vitality.

Timothy Spedding
Lead Registered Psychologist
Timothy is a registered psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology from Western Sydney University and a member of the Australian Psychology Society. With over 10 years of experience in Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and learning disabilities, he specializes in ABA, behaviour intervention, and NDIS Behaviour Support.
Known for his calm, adaptable approach, Timothy works with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. He uses evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, and MI, alongside psychological assessments (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-IV, ADI-R, ADOS-2).
Timothy is dedicated to continuous professional development and recently completed training in LEGO-Based therapy and the Cool Kids Program.

Sadia Ishaq
Registered Psychologist
Sadia Ishaq is a dedicated General Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs. She is B. S (Hons) in Applied psychology and M.Phill in Applied psychology. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing tailored interventions to address behavioural, emotional, and developmental challenges. Sadia specialises in developing evidence-based behaviour support plans, focusing on reducing challenging behaviours and promoting positive skill development. Her expertise includes working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia, trauma and PTSD, perinatal depression, behavioural issues, and adjustment difficulties.

Sadia utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Humanistic approaches. Additionally, she focuses on developing individualised Behaviour Support Plans, Emotional Regulation Strategies, Parent and Caregiver Training, and Play-Based Interventions. Her collaborative approach ensures holistic support, working closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful and sustainable outcomes for her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Sadia enjoys having coffee and spending mindful time in nature, which helps her maintain a balanced and reflective mindset. She continues to expand her knowledge through professional development, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-cantered care that empowers individuals to reach their full potential.

Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistant
Veronica is a Speech Pathology Allied Health Assistant at Flex, currently completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Western Sydney University.
With extensive experience in paediatric and adult communication therapy, she is passionate about helping individuals find their voice through words, gestures, or alternative communication strategies. Veronica’s warm, engaging approach prioritizes collaboration, tailoring each activity to the unique needs of her clients.
Veronica specialises in receptive and expressive language skills, social communication, augmentative alternative communication, and neuroaffirming practices, empowering individuals to enhance communication and foster meaningful connections in daily life.
