What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government scheme to deliver eligible people funding to gain access to services and supports they need. This allows participants to have greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, the community, and an improved quality of life.

If you are looking into NDIS, we recommend you visit their website to gain an understanding and contact support for assistance. https://www.ndis.gov.au/

About

Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) under the NDIS?

The ECEI is an approach under the NDIS for children younger than 7 years old with a disability or a developmental delay, and their families, to access funding to gain access to services and supports they need. Children, younger than 6 years old who do not fully meet the definition of developmental delay and have developmental concerns will also be supported.

Flex Allied Health is also able to see children who have an approved NDIS plan with funding for therapeutic supports. We work together with you and your support network to ensure that we are working towards you and your child’s goals.

Applying for NDIS under the ECEI is a long process that requires documentation and evidence to demonstrate your child’s need for government funding. Our therapists have experience in assessing and writing reports to help support children in need to access NDIS funding.

If you are looking at ECEI, we recommend you visit their website to gain an understanding and contact support for assistance. https://www.ndis.gov.au/understanding/families-and-carers/early-childhood-approach
